Day 1 - ARRIVE TORONTO (2 nights)

Welcome to Toronto, Canada's largest city! A complimentary transfer is provided to the tour hotel. Your Tour Director is at the hotel this afternoon to greet you and answer your questions. Join us at 6 p.m. for a Welcome Drink at the hotel.

Day 2 - TORONTO SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE

Start the day with an orientation tour of Toronto, viewing Casa Loma, Queens Park, the busy entertainment district, stately University Avenue and the Provincial Parliament Buildings. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this exciting city on your own or perhaps join an optional excursion to the top of the CN Tower. This evening, join your fellow travelling companions for dinner at your hotel. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)  

 

Day 3 - TORONTO - NIAGARA FALLS

Travel around Lake Ontario to the magnificent sight of Niagara Falls. There is plenty of time to take it all in from the lovely park-like setting on the Canadian side. Then, see the falls up close aboard the unforgettable Maid of the Mist cruise. This evening, enjoy a delightful wine and culinary experience at a family owned and operated winery and estate. Join your host for an exclusive winery tour and tasting of their award winning wines including the famous ice-wine, a gem of the region. Later, enjoy Niagara Regional Cuisine created with local seasonal ingredients at a 'Be My Guest' Dinner served in a marvellous setting with stunning views of the vineyard and Lake Ontario in the distance. Day 4 - NIAGARA FALLS - KINGSTON

Heading north, follow the shores of Lake Ontario through the Ontario countryside to the historic town of Kingston. Here, visit Old Fort Henry, a 19th century British military fortress, and learn about British garrison life during the year of Canada's confederation. This evening is at leisure; perhaps enjoy a picturesque dinner cruise through the spectacular 1000 Islands region. (Full Breakfast)

Day 5 - KINGSTON - UPPER CANADA VILLAGE - MONTREAL

Visit Upper Canada Village, a recreated 1860's rural community where citizens take us back in time. Then travel to Montreal, the cultural capital of French Canada and the largest French-speaking city outside France. Here, your local guide introduces us to the historic sites of Montreal including spectacular Notre-Dame Basilica and the modern contrasts of bustling downtown. Stop at Mount Royal for lovely views over the city. (Full Breakfast)

Day 6 - MONTREAL - QUEBEC CITY (2 nights)

Journey along the beautiful St. Lawrence River to Quebec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Founded as a trading post at a narrowing of the St. Lawrence River, the walled city quickly grew on the cliffs overlooking the river. With French as the primary language, old-world Quebec City offers a truly unique experience. Tonight, enjoy dinner at your hotel. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 - QUEBEC CITY SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE

Join a local guide and start your sightseeing tour of Quebec City, exploring the narrow streets of the Old Town and the Plains of Abraham, site of a major colonial battle between the British and the French. Next, visit the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre, located within one of the most visited shrines in North America. Then stop at Montmorency Falls, which at 275 feet (84 metres) are nearly 100 feet (30 metres) taller than those at Niagara. This afternoon, return to Quebec City and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Perhaps browse the shops and galleries, vist a museum or simply sit at a sidewalk café and relax watching the world go by. (Full Breakfast)  

 

Day 8 - QUEBEC CITY - OTTAWA (2 nights)

Travel back into Ontario to Ottawa, Canada's beautiful capital city. On arrival, join an orientation tour of the city, viewing the stately buildings of Parliament Hill, Rideau Hall, the residence of the Governor General of Canada and the beautiful downtown parks filled with millions of tulips in May. (Full Breakfast)

Day 9 - OTTAWA AT LEISURE

Enjoy a full day at leisure to pursue your own interests. Experience the history and culture of Canada's national capital. Perhaps explore some of Canada's national treasures, museums and galleries or Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tonight toast to your Eastern Canada adventure with newfound friends at a Farewell Dinner. (Full Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)  

 

Day 10 - OTTAWA - DEPART TORONTO

A complimentary transfer is provided to Toronto International Airport and the tour hotel in Toronto for passengers extending their stay. Please do not schedule any flights before 6:00PM. (Full Breakfast)
