The bus tour was enjoyable but tiring for my wife. The tour Director and bus driver were excellent and very helpful. They both had an intimate knowledge of the area and the director was humorous as well. In general, we enjoyed the tour and would do more of them if my wife were in better health. Thank you.

The trip was just fantastic! Thank you so much for all of your help, guidance and organizing to make this trip so successful. We now want to see Newfoundland and Labrador (maybe next year).
I would definitely do this trip again and recommend it to anyone. Ambassatours were excellent, very high class and well organized for such a tour and the number of people. Some days were a little long, but the intensity of all the history and information we got daily probably added to being exhausted from time to time. Thanks again.

Thank you so very much for your services, they certainly contributed to the wonderful time we had in Atlantic Canada. You can tell by our smiles in the attached photos. Know also that there were several occurrences over the duration of the trip when we compared such things as brochures, tourist ads, Map quest directions and the like and always came to the question "what does Nicole say about this?", whereupon we'd refer to the "Nicole Papers".
Hard to put a finger on what or where we enjoyed the most, so I won't try! Nicole, once again, we really appreciate all you provided for us, and please know you are at the top of our referral list regarding travel in the Maritime Provinces.

Arrived safe - a little scary at first but everything went normally and in good time. The tour was great, although, as a single, I would have liked more planned functions ie tickets and transportation to events and not so much free time. As this was my first bus tour, I hope this does not sound too negative, I did enjoy it and loved the Nova Scotian and PEI people. The accommodations and meals were great, Thanks for everything!

Thanks for the welcome home. We had a great time! You live in a very beautiful part of the world. Even better was that we were treated wonderfully by everyone. I intend to give you a full update once I catch up. Thanks again.

We had a fabulous time, thanks! Wanted to let you know that the Silver Dart Lodge was a big hit with the kids (I liked it too!) and Baddeck was a perfect launching pad for seeing the sights in Cape Breton. The Hilton Garden Inn worked out perfectly the last night, as well, and was very comfortable.
Funnily enough (ha, ha!!!) our whale watching trip from Brier Island was frightful. There were very nice people, nice concession, beautiful spot but horrible day -- rainy, windy and foggy. No whales and VERY high seas. The kids loved the roller coaster effect. We tried again the next day out of Digby, where we stayed and though it was a beautiful day (calm seas, sunny, no fog), the whales managed to elude us again. I think this is just our family whale karma.
HOWEVER, we did go on a trip out of Pleasant Bay in Cape Breton and saw a large pod of pilot whales and that was wonderful. The kids were elated, seeing their first whales in the wild. So while they were somewhat disappointed they didn't get to see any of the big whales, they were thrilled with the ones they saw -- plus all the eagles, seals, porpoises, lobster trap, etc.
They shared my love of Nova Scotia ... so green and beautiful, and the people, particularly in Cape Breton, so welcoming. Thanks again for your help!

We had a marvelous time and neither one of us wanted to come back. We
definitely will go back and then we will find a place to retire. We
will be looking around Portugal Cove in particular.
Instead of Woody Island we did a tour around the Baccalieu Peninsula
and stayed overnight at Old Pelican at the north end of the peninsula.
We brought back 6 rolls of film and a CD of NL music. Our 2 favourite
songs are "I'm from the Rock" and "I'm a Newfoundlander by Choice".
We saw 6 moose, 3 caribou, a pod of whales who came very close to the
catamaran off Bulls Bay and lots of Puffins and other birds on Gull
Island.
Julien was not keen on the B&Bs but after staying at Carriage House
and the Bluenose he now has a different attitude towards B&Bs and
would do it again. Both places were excellent and the hosts superb.
If we went again we would
not do the 360 tour to the Coast of Bays. The coast was amazing but the
route down 360 was very boring. There is talk of re-instating a ferry
service for vehicles from the Coast of Bays to the Avalon Peninsula
which would make the trip shorter and more interesting.
All went well: the weather was perfect, the scenery spectacular, cod is
now my favourite fish, the people were wonderful and you did a great
job planning our trip.
Thanks again for helping to make this a trip of a lifetime.

I welcome the opportunity to give you some feedback on our trip.
First the positives all
the itinerary, accommodation etc was fine. Our favourite place was the
Ocean B&B in Digby and that was the cheapest. Really friendly and
good layout and location. The most uncomfortable room was at The
Blomidon very pokey and a huge but uncomfortable bed. However we
chose to have dinner there and that was lovely the one chance to
dress up a bit! We also loved Guest Lovitt in Yarmouth I wanted to be
Judy Garland in Meet me in St Louis! You really felt as though you were
back to the turn of the last century!
The best thing about Nova
Scotia was the people everyone was incredibly friendly, polite and
helpful from the ladies in the diner in Halifax when we lost our way
to the Customs Officer who stamped my receipts at the airport. Some of
the nicest people I have ever met and they will be my lasting memory
Now for the not so goods.
As you know the weather wasn't kind to us in fact at times in felt
like the middle of winter that I know cannot be helped. Also for
future clients who express a real interest in whale watching I suggest
they stay on Brier Island it was a real jaunt going back and forth to
Digby each day as much as we like the Ocean B&B.
We did enjoy our visit.
All your arrangements were fine thanks for your help. I do hope your
summer picks up weather wise

Yes all went well with the Globus trip. A bit more time at the cultural
places and less at gift shops would have suited us better but it was
obvious that the tour was geared to the American Market, however we
enjoyed it but needed a rest in Halifax afterwards! Thanks, Pam Regan.

We had a wonderful time in Nova Scotia. All of the hotels were fine.
The only problem we had was the weather. The first week was simply
gorgeous; the second week was mostly cloudy with some rain; but we were
able to get around, take pictures, and enjoy ourselves.
Again thank you for all
your efforts on our behalf. Send my regards and thanks to Avril, as
well. It's been a pleasure,

Everything went very well. The ladies followed your suggestions for
things to do and see and had a great time. All the golf arrangements
went as planned, and the weather was very nice while we were
there--understand it was the first good week all summer. Unfortunately,
it was foggy and misting the day we were at Highlands Links/Ingonish,
but otherwise we had sunshine.
Whalewatching was
successful at Cheticamp, and the ladies wished we had planned more time
in Mahone Bay/Lunenburg. It was very enjoyable, and we appreciate all
your help. Thanks for everything.

We're back and had a wonderful time. At first I thought that 10 days
would be too much time but it was not enough! The area is incredibly
beautiful and the people are so friendly. We definitely want to come
back. Thank you for planning this vacation. We enjoyed all the
hotels/inns along the way. You did a great job in picking the places.
Also, the concert (Celtic Women) was fantastic. We also got to see
Jennifer Roland at the Louisburg Playhouse (she's excellent)! Thanks
again

We had a great time and were blessed with great weather. We drove
around a lot and took several hikes. The scenery was super and everyone
was very friendly. I highly recommend Anton's in Wolfville and Piper's
Landing just outside Pictou. Pictou Lodge & Auberge Giselle were
both very lovely. All in all, we had a fantastic time. Thanks for
everything. Suffice to say we had a fantastic time.

The trip was great! We probably did a little too much driving. The
Gowrie House was fantastic. The Fisherman's Daughter was just as great.
We could have spent several more days. All and all, a good time was
had. Thanks

We enjoyed our trip very much - thank you for arranging it for us. We
went on two whale trips both with Mariner Cruises. Recommending Mariner
Cruises would almost guarantee a great whale trip. There is also a
hotel on Brier Island - Brier Island Lodge to stay at instead of
driving back to Digby each night. Again thanks for doing the scheduling
for us.

The trip was lovely and all the accommodations were very nice. The
Auberge Giselle was by far the loveliest room. Everyone we met in Nova
Scotia was both welcoming and pleasant. |
