Grab your beret and experience French Canada! Begin in Montreal with sightseeing that includes Notre Dame Basilica and Old Montreal, then travel by rail to Quebec City, Canada's only walled city. Explore cobblestone streets and four-centuries-old buildings that will make you feel like you've stepped back in time to Old France! Visit the Basilica of Sainte-Anne de Beaupre pilgrimage site and tour a sugar shack to learn the art of making maple syrup. Next, journey along the St. Lawrence River and into the province of Ontario. In Ottawa, Canada's capital, city sightseeing highlights Parliament Hill, Embassy Row, and the Rideau Canal, then enjoy a scenic cruise through St. Lawrence Islands National Park and a stop at the historic town of Kingston, Canada's first capital. See the sights in Toronto before taking a scenic cruise to the base of thundering Niagara Falls. Return to Toronto for a festive dinner atop the world-famous CN Tower, the perfect ending to an exciting adventure!
Day 1: Arrive in Montreal

Day 2: Montreal–VIA Rail®–Quebec City
(Sun.) This morning, enjoy Montreal’s unique combination of French charm and North American lifestyle. See the NOTRE DAME BASILIC A, the cobbled streets of Old Montreal, and Mount Royal for a beautiful view of the city. This afternoon, travel in style through the province of Quebec onboard VIA RAIL. When you see the stone walls of Quebec City, you’ll feel as though you are stepping back in time to Old France. This evening, enjoy breathtaking views from your hotel as you settle in for a relaxing 2-night stay at the Loews Le Concorde Hotel. Tonight, savor fine French cuisine at a charming restaurant in the Old City. (B,D)
Day 3: Québec City
(Mon.) This morning, explore Canada’s only walled city with its winding cobblestone streets, quaint restaurants, and boutiques housed in building more than 400 years old. Later, take an included excursion to the BASILIC A OF SAINTE-ANNEDE- BEAUPRE, revered by pilgrims since 1888. This evening, dinner is on your own, allowing you to sample one of the city’s many fabulous restaurants. (B)
Day 4: Quebec City–Ottawa
(Tue.) Before leaving Quebec we’ll stop at a SUGAR SHACK where you’ll enjoy a guided tour, learn the art of making maple syrup, and enjoy a traditional sugar shack breakfast. See charming villages along the St. Lawrence River as we leave French Canada and journey into the province of Ontario. A late-afternoon arrival in Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. Enjoy a city TOUR that highlights Parliament Hill, Embassy Row, the Rideau Canal, and the Byward Market. This evening, enjoy dinner at Le Café overlooking the famous Rideau Canal. (B,D)
Day 5: Ottawa. Choose Your Experience
(Wed.) A PLATINUM EXCLUSIVE, today you select how you wish to spend your day. Choose from a lock tour and CR UISE along the scenic Rideau Canal or hop aboard one of Canada’s oldest STEAM TRAINS and enjoy an excursion to the picturesque village of Wakefield. The remainder of the day and evening are at leisure to explore this vibrant city. (B)
Day 6: Ottawa–St. Lawrence Islands National Park–Toronto
(Thu.) This morning, enjoy a scenic CRUISE through St. Lawrence Islands National Park. Sit back and relax as you tour the world-famous 1000 Islands. Our next stop is the historic town of Kingston, Canada’s first capital. We continue to Toronto for an orientation tour of the city’s major landmarks. (B,D)
Day 7: Toronto. Niagara Falls Excursion
(Fri.) This morning, drive west to Niagara Falls on the US/Canadian border. Board the Maid of the Mist for a scenic CRUISE to the base of the thundering waterfall. This evening, enjoy a festive Farewell Dinner high in the sky at the world’s tallest tower, the CN TOWER. (B,D)
Day 8: Toronto
(Sat.) After breakfast, bid farewell to your newfound friends as your vacation comes to an end with an included transfer to the airport. (B)
